The bruAPP Backup Appliance can be customized to meet the specific needs of your organization.  From the number of backup clients to the size of the RAID array, the items you choose will make the bruAPP Backup Appliance your most customized backup solution.

Available Seagate® Drives

The bruAPP Seagate hard drive options vary based on the chassis option chosen.  The tower and 1U rackmount chassis' have a maximum of four (4) hard drive bays for a maximum capacity of 4TB each.  The 2U rackmount unit has 12 hard drive bays for a maximum capacity of 12TB.

Available LTO Tape Devices

All of our bruAPP Backup Appliance's have the ability to be equipped with a built in LTO tape drive for Disk-to-Tape operations.

*Rackmount 1U Note: When a tape device is installed in the bruAPP 1U chassis, two hard drive bays are consumed for the tape drive, thus reducing the the number of available hard drive bays from four (4) bays to only two (2) bays (maximum 2TB of available storage).

ATTO® Technology Host Bus Adapters (HBA's)

All bruAPP Backup Appliance's ship with one (1) ATTO Technology SCSI HBA. You may opt to have a Fibre-Channel or SAS HBA to be shipped in your bruAPP instead of the ATTO SCSI HBA.

bruAPP Client Licenses

No two bruAPP installations are alike and for that reason, should you require a specific number of bruAPP clients, please contact BRU Sales. Our sales team is available to help you between the hours of 8AM and 5PM MST (GMT -0700) and will be happy to provide you with a free customized quote.
